Throwback Thursdays #6 – Jimi Hendrix

When the power of love overcomes the love of power;
the world will know peace.

Today we introduce to you one of the world’s greatest if not the best guitarist of all time, Jimi Hendrix.  When Jimi picked up the guitar, he made overdriven, distorted sounds in order to create something truly beautiful. His style bridged the differences between playing the Blues and Rock N Roll, something that Eric Clapton had already been trying to accomplish before he came along.  Jimi was always creating and performing his own vision of music and on stage, and he drew the audience closer through the transparency of his presence.  Although he was humble to walk onto stage; once the music began, his presence became that of a radiant angel that played the guitar like a beautiful storm.
